The rapture has always been a favourite of mine, as it’s such a cartoon-like concept, with believers being whipped off into the air. My cartoons usually involve ceilings getting in the way – a problem which doesn’t seem to bother theologians.
His first thought was that the rapture had just ruined a perfectly good church roof.
