Breakfast in the Holy Land was published by Marshall Pickering (before they were eaten up by HarperCollins) in 1988.

For the book, Simon Mayo and I flew to Israel/Palestine and did a whistle-stop tour of the major holy sites and tourist attractions in Jerusalem, Bethlehem, the Dead Sea, Nazareth and Galilee.

The book, which I ghosted and illustrated, is partly a breezy travelogue and partly a retelling of some of the Bible’s most colourful stories.
